Under Alabama law you can stack the uninsured motorist coverage you have up to three times if you have the policy on multiple vehicles in your household. For instance, I carry $100,000 per person and $300,000 per accident on my uninsured policy and I have two vehicles insured with that amount. That means that if I am in a catastrophic accident even if the other person is uninsured I will have access to $200,000 dollars of insurance money to cover those injuries.
